ABOUT THE LUNCHEON:
This inspirational and transformational community luncheon gives voice to the power of living openly, honestly and with authenticity at work, in our families, in our faith communities, and across our lives. The realities of living an authentic life are deeper than being "out". We all have many layers of identity and we must work together to create a world where people can bring their "whole self" to everything they do. The National Coming Out Day Luncheon serves as a celebration of who we are individually...and together!
The tide of history will continue to change only when we honor our identities with pride and live with joy, openness and truth. Coming out (whether as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, ally or any other identity on the spectrum) STILL MATTERS. Every person who speaks up continues to change hearts and minds, and creates new advocates for equality.
We hope you will join us as our community celebrates the strength, courage and wisdom of LGBTQ+ and Allied people who have braved their own unique journeys to now live openly and authentically...and with pride.

ABOUT THE BUSINESS EQUITY SUMMIT:
With additional support from Best Buy, we are very excited to present our virtual 2021 Business Equity Summit! At this event, attendees will have the chance to network with other business professionals, hear remarks from business leaders about the importance of the LGBTQ+ and Allied business community, and attend breakout sessions designed to help your business growth and thrive.
The conference will open with a quick welcome from Quorum staff and Board. Attendees can then choose from a variety of small business, nonprofit and corporate education sessions presented by local and national experts in their fields.

COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES:
For this year’s National Coming Out Day Luncheon, Quorum is making every effort to ensure a safe and enjoyable event. Thank you for your patience as it has taken longer than anticipated to address all of the planning concerns related to this event.
We recognize that never before in our collective histories have we had to address the impacts of a global pandemic. We also know that we have a wealth of information to guide our decision-making strategies. We have extensively researched guidelines provided by the State of Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
We will implement multiple layered prevention strategies to ensure that all attendees are as safe as possible. We have developed the following event guidelines/safety protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at the Luncheon. If you are unable to follow these protocols, which were created with CDC guidelines and local and state ordinances at the forefront of our minds, we ask that you do not attend the in-person event and attend the event virtually through our livestream option.
- All attendees will be required to either have proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of the event. We will have a special check-in process to ensure this step towards safety.
- Masks will be required throughout the event except when seated or eating/drinking. We will have some masks available but encourage you to bring your own as well.
- We will have hand sanitizer stations throughout the event
- We will strictly limit the number of attendees, staff and guests to 350 people, which aligns with local and state ordinances and our venue’s capacity restrictions.
Postponement Information: There is a possibility that due to increased case count and changing local restrictions that we will have to postpone our event. We are making every effort to finalize our plans by October 1, 2021 and will let you know at this time if event plans change or significant event changes need to occur.
Although our 2021 National Coming Out Day Luncheon may not look like others you’ve attended in the past, we know that it will continue to be a joyous and celebratory event. Please feel free to reach out to us via email at Rebecca@twincitiesquorum.com with any questions!
