Bring the Best You to Work: Mental Wellness in the Workplace

Quorum Young Professional’s January networking event will take place Tuesday, January 28th from 5:30-7:30pm and will be hosted by the PFund Foundation (2801 21st Avenue South, Suite 132 B, Minneapolis). Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.

Come join Quorum Young Professionals and discuss mental wellness in the workplace. During this event, participants will learn what mental wellness is and the importance of practicing positive mental wellness in a classroom-like setting.

In today's workplace environment, professionals young and old are experiencing burnout as more and more are being asked of them. According to a poll commissioned by Business in the Community with HR firm Mercer, nearly three-quarters of the members in the LGBTQIA+ community have experienced mental health issues because of work.

Step one in fixing any problem is acknowledging it exists so it's time to voice the questions we all have struggled with and find some answers together. Quorum Young Professionals provides a safe space to build, strengthen, and connect our LGBTQIA+ community in the Twin Cities and addressing mental wellness in the workplace is a foundational step in doing so.
