A Lunch and Learn collaboration of Capella Pride Alliance, Capella Diversity Inclusion Network Group, Twin Cities Quorum, and UPS

 

Featuring special guests Jonathon Douglas from The Infamous T - a documentary film about queer family, Rocki Simões, Program Manager of the GLBT Host Home Program, and Ryan Berg, Program Manager of the ConneQT Host Home Programfrom Avenues for Homeless Youth.

 

A sandwich lunch will be provided! (Please confirm your attendance by 10/25 so we have an accurate count for food.)

 

Join us in viewing the 30-minute documentary The Infamous T followed by a discussion and Q and A with Jonathon, star of the film, as well as Rocki and Ryan, Program Managers of the GLBT and ConneQT Host Home Programs from Avenues for Homeless Youth. We’ll talk about LGBTQ youth homelessness in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota and about the Host Home program approach, and we’ll learn about the various ways to support the program, from becoming hosts to donating money, supplies, or time.

 

We invite you to bring an item or two to donate to Avenues for Homeless Youth from their current wish list.

 

Located at Capella University in Capella Tower, 225 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402. All are welcome.
