Join Medtronic sourcing representatives as we host members of the women, minority and LGBT-owned business community in cooperation with the North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC), Women's Business Development Center (WBDC), Quorum, the National Veteran Business Develop Council (NVBDC) and Disability:IN. This is a local event for sourcing and functional representatives in the Twin Cities area.
A brief program featuring executive leadership and Medtronic therapies will be followed by structured networking with diverse suppliers in direct and indirect commodity categories. We are expecting over 150 business representatives, including both existing diverse partners and potential diverse suppliers.
Networking Format
“Category Tables” will be reserved to serve as a meeting place for suppliers to speak one-on-one with sourcing professionals in their industry. Select commodity categories will be represented including both direct and indirect areas.
We are requesting a representative from each Business Unit to be present to meet with suppliers. In these brief 5-10 minute conversations we hope to learn about their capabilities, share BU supplier requirements and share upcoming bidding opportunities that may be available in the short or long term. For those Medtronic attendees not at a table, we request that you speak with suppliers and share with them more generally the business requirements Medtronic has for suppliers in the medical device industry.
