The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC) and Quorum invite you to the Joint Procurement Meeting hosted by Best Buy. 

These meetings provide suppliers with an opportunity to meet and interact with the local and regional diverse small business community and large corporations, as well as government and not-for-profit institutions and agencies that support supplier diversity. As part of the program, Best Buy’s supplier diversity and procurement practices will be highlighted. Sourcing leaders and personnel will be on hand to discuss the process of doing business with Best Buy and to network. If you are a certified M/WBE/LGBTBE company, feel free to bring your company’s Capabilities Statement, along with your business cards.

Program: The Keynote Speaker will be Kamy Scarlett, Best Buy Chief Human Resources Officer.  As part of the program, Best Buy’s supplier diversity efforts will be highlighted and procurement staff from the organization will be introduced. 

Diverse Supplier Discussion & Contingent Labor Services (CLS) Presentation: Best Buy will present opportunities and challenges in supplier diversity programs and initiatives.  Separately, during the same time, there will be a special presentation by Best Buy’s IT Procurement Team, specifically designed for CLS providers.

Opportunity Fair: At this networking event suppliers will have the opportunity to meet procurement professionals and business stakeholders. Please come prepared with a brief written capabilities statement describing your business.  

Parking: Please park in the visitor parking lot located off of Penn Ave. and Hwy 494.

*Please do not arrive any earlier than 1:30 pm as Best Buy does not have the space to accommodate early arrivals.

* All visitors must be escorted by a Best Buy employee and remain in designated event areas only. 

*There will be no admittance to the Best Buy Corporate Campus after 4:15 p.m.

*All visitors must leave the Best Buy Corporate Campus promptly at 5 p.m.
